Michael Propen is an Operating Partner of SK Capital. Mr. Propen works closely with SK Capital Partners on the due diligence and operational improvement of portfolio investments. Prior to joining SK Capital in 2008, Mr. Propen was Corporate Vice President, Technology & Program Management for Honeywell International. He was previously Vice President, Technology & Business Development for AlliedSignal’s Automotive Products Group, Vice President of Engineering at AlliedSignal Engines, and Vice President of Engineering and Quality at Textron Lycoming. Mr. Propen has worked with the leaders of private equity-owned companies such as Aristech Acrylics and Sermatech International to help them drive growth and productivity.

Mr. Propen received a B.A. in Physics/Mathematics from Queens College, a B.S. in Aeronautics from New York University, an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Florida Technological University, and an M.B.A from the University of New Haven. He currently serves on the boards of Sermatech International and Quality Engineering & Software Technologies (QuEST).
